The “Satya Katha”

The “Satya Katha” is the section in which true stories are recorded so that the viewers can get knowledge and information about those events. In this case, there is a story of a father who has broken his limits to that extend that he rapes his daughter and makes her pregnant too. In a sense, he has made his daughter a type of wife with whom he can sleep and make love too.



The story is of a father who is named as Saugat Shah who is 51 year old. He has raped his daughter whose name is Kabita and already makes his daughter pregnant. This is the story that has broken the limits of a father. It is the father’s responsibility who has to save his family from others but this father has broken the definition of being father. He cannot be called father since it is the father who has to save his daughter but Saugat Shah has raped his daughter and then makes his daughter a mother of three children.

The story revolves around Itahari district, where Saugat Shah’s family resides. He has given birth to a child. Kabita had informed to the police about his father’s raping but till that time, she has already become pregnant Saugat had a bad eye on his other daughters too. So they reported to the police. After their complaints, the police had arrested the culprit. Later on they shifted to Inaruwa district where they started to live in Women Development Office and then the police started to do the investigation about the baby born after raping by her father.
